A week in New Orleans with 20,000 teenagers!

While visiting the ELCA website, I discovered we are gearing up for the 2012 Youth Gathering. I worked the first gathering in pre-Katrina New Orleans. What an awesome experience! What a city! What a great bunch of youth! What blisters!

Between recess duties I had lunch with Micah Gorans. We talked about our Youth Gathering experiences and both of us wish every young person could and would be able to participate.
