First of all thank you to our hostesses, LaRayne R & Judy B, and to all who brought delicious food to share.

We were delighted to have Katherine B at our meeting. She was visiting family for the Christmas Holidays.  It was good to see her again. 

Treasurer’s report:  $474.00 received on Thankoffering Sunday.  $100 will go to Oregon Women’s Group.  $233 was raised at our bake sale. 

Fair Trade event: everything sold,  proceeds went to LWR.  

General fund balance is $510,

 $300 will be held for new blinds in the Fellowship Hall.   Judy Britton is in charge of researching  blinds.

Other items:  Our younger mothers as of now do not want to start up a new group.  Some are already meeting together with their children from their connection Cradle Roll.  Edie says that Cradle Roll is doing good. 

2012 Retreat  is being worked on.  We are looking at Sept 28-30 or Oct 5-7. After discussing several options, our last retreat site in  Mount Angel was suggested. The committee will look into it.  Committee members: Carol D, Anita O, Cathie C

Chair: Anita O has agreed to be our chairperson for our meetings.  Thank you Anita!

BOLD WOMEN Sunday is  Feb. 26--when asked what we wanted to do it was suggested that we usher that day.  Colleen W. and Marta B. will be the planning committee. Thank you!

      After a short discussion: we are not going to participate  in “Mothers and Others Tea” this year. 

     Closet Cleaning:  It was been suggested that maybe we need to have the closets cleaned out in the Fellowship hall.  Edie P. and Kayse D. said they would be in charge.  Thank You!!

     Kitchen Stove: Since the kitchen oven quit working just prior to Advent Dinner and after research it would be best to replace current one. After discussion Sonya R, Judy W and Terri B will shop and they will let Joe know what they find. Then look at options how we (Calvary) can pay for it. 

      Giving tree gifts need to be at the church by Mon. Dec 19 ready for delivery that day.  Footnote: Gifts successfully delivered by Luayne and Mike.

      Happy News:  Peggy and Jerry J have a new grandson named Greenley.
