Advent Extravaganza! December 4th in the Courtyard Room

We will begin with music by the youth and a story with Pastor Matthew. There will be three really neat advent crafts to make for your family and books from the library to enjoy as well. Please join us and bring the whole family.

Change in the Sunday School Group Assignments

We are breaking up our large preschool – 2nd grade group (Well, really it is only through 1st grade since we don't have any 2nd graders this year.) The new group will be led by Sonya Rustad and Joanne Rice. This will mean a moving of rooms for the 3rd – 5th grade class to accommodate the new class. Change will take place on December the 11th. Make sure you greet our new teachers (who actually have been helping out for a while) at the Advent Extravaganza on the 4th.

Offering News

Our weekly offerings are going to ELCA'S "God's Global Barnyard" and the money collected in the children's barn banks will also go for that when they are returned. There will be more information about this program and a chance to explore opportunities to give something from God's Global Barnyard to someone for Christmas at the Advent Extravaganza. What a great idea for that special someone who has everything or as a way to honor our loved ones! More information can also be found at www.elca.org/goodgifts.
