A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers that made Calvary’s last rotation June 27 thru July 4 successful! Without them, 3 families with children may not have had a safe place to sleep!

Driving, preparation of meals, evening and overnight hosting, providing snacks, setting up and taking down of the facility, delivery of the bedding from one location to the next and solicitation of volunteers are some of the many jobs that go along with hosting Family Bridge. Calvary, along with our partner congregations LDS Evergreen Ward, Trinity Lutheran and Zion Lutheran provide an average of 60 volunteers during our hosting week to make it all happen.

Calvary is scheduled to be host church the week of August 22 through 29. Kim M, Calvary’s Family Bridge Scheduling Coordinator, is seeking volunteers to fill the many jobs required for the week. Check out the Family Bridge section of the website, under Ministries. You will find descriptions, volunteer forms and a spreadsheet of the open volunteer positions for the week.
